Materiality Assessment

In a complex and ever-changing environment, we regularly assess the most important sustainability issues impacting our business. Inspire completed a materiality assessment in 2022, identifying key issues based on industry standards, peer benchmarking, and input from company leaders.

The current strategy focuses on critical topics within our pillars: People, Food, Environment, and Community, which will continue to evolve in alignment with stakeholder priorities.

About our Impact Reporting

We are committed to transparency in our Impact reporting. Statements on the Impact site are based on information available at the time of publication and may be updated as new information becomes available. Environmental data and examples generally pertain to the full years, January 1-December 31, 2023, and January 1-December 31, 2024. The scope of this data and the commitments outlined cover our U.S. corporate operations, corporate support centers, and corporate innovation center. Where available, we include information and data from our franchise restaurants, international supply chain, and supply chain partners, while recognizing that this data collection may be limited and requires reliance on third-party sources for accuracy and completeness. All references to currency are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

An internal review of all data and assertions on the Inspire Impact site was conducted by Inspire internal subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of the content. Our internal audit team supported the review process to improve internal controls around our Impact reporting.
